Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Volta.ai website and subscribing to Volta's Lawn Care as a Service ("LCaaS"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Volta provides autonomous lawn care through a subscription model. The service includes:

  • One or more Lawn Companion robot(s) as determined by Volta
  • Charging base station and accessories
  • Lawn Intelligence AI platform and mobile app
  • Remote support
  • Over-the-air software updates

Hardware remains the property of Volta Lawn Intelligence Inc. throughout the subscription period.

3. Subscription Terms

All plans require a 24-month commitment period. Available plans: Basic ($72/mo), Ultra ($89/mo), and Elite ($159/mo). After the initial 24-month period, plans convert to reduced monthly rates.

4. Equipment Use

Subscribers must:

  • Use the equipment only for its intended purpose (residential lawn care)
  • Follow setup and safety instructions provided by Volta
  • Maintain a suitable operating environment for the equipment
  • Report malfunctions promptly through the app or support channels
  • Not attempt to modify, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the hardware or software

5. Service Availability

Volta aims to maintain continuous service but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Factors including weather, mechanical issues, and software updates may temporarily affect service.

6. Data Collection

The Lawn Companion collects agronomic data through its downward-facing camera and operational telemetry. This data is used to improve lawn care outcomes and fleet intelligence. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Liability Limitations

8. Termination

9. Changes to Terms
